Sourav Mukhopadhayay is a Senior Consultant with extensive experience in blockchain, Ethereum, Solidity, and DeFi. With over 12 years of relevant experience, Sourav has led cross-functional teams of UI/UX designers, web developers, mobile developers, game developers, database developers, DevOps, QA, and blockchain engineers. He is a Certified Blockchain Solution Architect and Developer, as well as a Certified Professional Scrum Master. Sourav possesses effective communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with proven experience in handling typically high revenue projects while surpassing all expectations. He has industry experience in DeFi, eSports, Investor Share Services, Real Estate Mortgage Banking, Oil & Gas, and P&I Insurance. Currently, Sourav is a Senior Solidity Consultant at Sovryn, where he has developed vestings, investor funding, staking rewards, limit orders for spot, margin trades and perpetuals, liquidity mining, and several other smart contracts for an open-source Bitcoin-based DeFi platform on RSK (a Layer 2 EVM based side chain). He has also implemented audit feedback, gas optimizations, improved test coverage, optimized test cases, automated tasks using GitHub Actions, and researched security tools. In the past, Sourav has worked as a Senior Consultant at Infrasoft, where he led the blockchain initiatives, and as a Senior Blockchain Developer & Architect at Nextgentm, where he built and led the engineering team delivering high-quality and resilient services and products. He also designed the Blockchain Identity Management product for gamers using Decentralized Identifiers (DIDs) and optimized the Tendermint-based Cosmos Blockchain, Dawn (dawn.org) using Golang SDK. Sourav has a Master's degree in Software Development and Management from VIT and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Government Engineering College.
