Sourav Pal is a highly motivated and accomplished PhD student in Computer Sciences at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, with a broad research interest in Machine Learning and its applications to Computer Vision. He is a graduate of the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, where he earned a BTech (Hons.) in Computer Science and Engineering in 2018. As a second-year PhD student, Sourav is currently working on cutting-edge research in the field of Machine Learning, with a focus on Computer Vision. He has a strong background in both theoretical and applied aspects of Machine Learning, and has published several papers in top-tier conferences and journals. In addition to his academic work, Sourav has also gained valuable industry experience as a Data Science Intern at Adobe.
