Sourav Pati is a highly skilled software engineer with a passion for machine learning and natural language processing. He has also worked on multi-conferencing and partner support projects, including Ring and Nest. Sourav is currently working on enabling Picture in Picture on Echo devices, improving latency, and live streaming on the Alexa companion app. Prior to his current role, Sourav worked as a Software Development Engineer at Amazon and Audible Inc. At Amazon, he was a part of the Smart Home Cameras Team, where he built features to enable live video streaming from security cameras on Alexa-enabled devices. At Audible Inc., he worked on two teams - the Audible Risk Management Team and the Audible Personalization Team. On the Audible Risk Management Team, he built software services and tools to catch fraud in real-time using graph analytics on customers connected with each other on fraud vectors. On the Audible Personalization Team, he created personalized experiences for Audible customers by building strategies to recommend audiobooks and podcasts using machine learning models and algorithms like collaborative filtering.
