Sourav Rane is a passionate and quick learner software engineer with a focus on fundamental systems concepts. He is highly adaptable to new changes and always strives for simplicity in his work. Sourav's areas of interest include application development, system design, and DSA problem-solving. Currently, Sourav works as a Software Engineer at Deloitte, where he specializes in front-end development. He develops web applications and responsive websites using HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, JavaScript, Typescript, ReactJS, and NextJS. Sourav is also skilled in using Material UI, JSS, and SCSS and documents web components on StoryBookJS. He is experienced in Agile methodology and project management applications such as JIRA. Before joining Deloitte, Sourav worked as a Technical Instructor at Software Training Institutes in Bangalore - TIB Academy. He taught fundamentals of programming using Python, basic web development, and data science. Sourav also worked as a Data Scientist at Unilever, where he focused on digital supply chain and supply chain forecasting using machine learning. He generated scripts to build a Risk Metrics for the models and performed hyper-parameter tuning. Sourav holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from CMR Institute of Technology, where he graduated in 2019. He also attended Kendriya Vidyalaya from 2011 to 2015. Sourav's technical skills include software engineering, JavaScript, web development, ReactJS, frontend development, Typescript, data science, UI design, NodeJS, research scientist, and ML.
