Sourav Saha is an accomplished Machine Learning professional and educator in the field of Advanced Analytics, with nearly two decades of experience across various functions such as Technology Consulting and R&D in the area of Digital Transformation enabled through ERP, Advanced Analytics, Cloud & IOT. He has a Doctoral thesis on Mining Massive Dataset using Biologically inspired algorithms for distributed decision processing. Sourav has worked across the globe in developed (USA, EU, JAPAC) as well as emerging (India, Bangladesh) economies, leading strategic engagements through Business Intelligence (BI) & ERP driven transformation in domains covering Finance, Healthcare, Retail, and Travel for fortune 500 companies in the USA. He is passionate about innovations around end-to-end customer experiences across the value chain using data-driven insights for truly personalized experiences. Currently, Sourav is the Academic Dean at Praxis Business School, where he continues to drive innovation in the field of Data Science & Analytics. Prior to this, he was the Chairperson of Data Science & Analytics and an Associate Professor at SVKM's Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), where he launched the executive program of Post Graduate Diploma in Data Science & Analytics (ePGD-DSA) in blended learning mode - a first move in an Institute of Excellence in Higher Education. Sourav's current interests include Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, IOT, and omni-channel customer experiences. He believes in the democratization of technology and diffusion in making technology invisible, and is passionate about the application of ubiquitous technology for people at the bottom of the pyramid. In addition to his academic and professional achievements, Sourav has publications in the field of MIS at international conferences in Europe and the USA. He is a speaker at leadership forums and graduate schools in areas of Data Science & Cloud Computing. Sourav's education history includes Management Information Systems and Business Application of Machine Learning metaHeuristics from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, and a Visiting Researcher degree in Healthcare Analytics on secure Cloud from UNSW. He has also served as a Research Intern in Data Mining at the Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata. Sourav's tech stack includes Data Scientist, ML, Blockchain, and Research Scientist.
