Sourav Saha is a highly motivated and enthusiastic Software Engineer with a passion for learning new technologies and domains. With over three years of experience in web development, Sourav has a strong background in both Front-end and Back-end technologies. Currently working as a Software Engineer (UI) at Rippling, Sourav is responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality user interfaces using Javascript and React. Previously, Sourav worked as an Associate at Publicis Sapient, where he developed single-page applications for the insurance domain using React, Nodejs, and Redux. He also created components for a UI library using Storybook and optimized page size and load times to enhance user experience. Sourav wrote unit tests with 90% coverage in Jest, enzyme, and react testing library to ensure that the code was bug-free. He used Bamboo, Ngnix, and Bitbucket to achieve continuous integration and deployment using Octopus. Sourav actively participated in agile daily scrum, planning meetings, backlog grooming, and sprint retrospective. Before joining Publicis Sapient, Sourav worked as a Full Stack Developer at TCS, where he contributed to the technical design and development of REST API using Node.js with Express Framework to fetch data from SQL server and Oracle database. He also created complex database queries to direct access to the big query database from the frontend (React) using Node client and Express without any API layer. Sourav resolved technical issues related to API applications by identifying and improving existing features and fixing bugs. He worked in an Agile environment to collaborate with product team members for implementing features in development. Sourav holds a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Instrumentation from West Bengal University of Technology, Kolkata, and a High School degree in Science from Kendriya Vidyalaya. His tech stack includes Javascript, UI, Web, Redux, NodeJS, Frontend, Backend, test, CI/CD, SQL, Integration, ReactJS, VueJS, Typescript, MongoDB, and Azure.
