Sourav Saha is a Senior Data Scientist at Target, with over 5 years of relevant experience in the field. He is passionate about data-driven decision making and has a strong background in statistics, R, Python, SQL, Apache Spark, Power BI, and Amazon Web Services. Currently, Sourav is working at MiQ Digital, where he is responsible for developing and implementing data-driven solutions to drive business growth. He has previously worked as a Decision Scientist at Mu Sigma, where he was involved in anomaly detection for Europe's largest aircraft manufacturer. He identified different anomalies that occurred in the data recorder by onboard flight data recorders and created a framework to implement an ensemble of techniques like moving window average, autocorrelation, and certain rule-based approaches to identify and impute anomalous data. The final framework helped the clients in increasing efficiency in terms of both accuracy and speed. Sourav holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology from the Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology (IIEST), Shibpur. He has also completed his AISSCE from Kendriya Vidyalaya. In addition to his academic qualifications, Sourav has a diverse tech stack that includes research scientist, data scientist, Python, SQL, Spark, AWS, ML, web, NLP, deep learning, test, TensorFlow, and mobile.
