Sourya Varanasi is a UX Generalist with a Masters's degree in Human-Computer Interaction Design from Indiana University Bloomington. With over 4 years of experience in building enterprise SaaS products, Sourya is a product-minded thinker who understands the challenges weighing on businesses and end-customer needs. He collaborates with product leaders, developers, and stakeholders to deliver a seamless user experience. Currently working as a UX Designer - Data Analytics at Rich Products Corporation, Sourya has conducted user research with data analysts, data scientists, and data engineers in the enterprise analytics team to identify pain points and define requirements for the new self-serve Enterprise Data Catalog. He has also conducted user interviews with K-12 sales associates to understand their sales journey and designed an analytics dashboard that increased sales. In the past, Sourya has worked as a UX Designer externship - Sponsored Course Project at Salesforce, where he enhanced the free-trial experience by assessing the user journey and providing recommendations to maximize conversion rate. He has also worked as a UX Designer (Enterprise Student Systems) at Indiana University Bloomington, where he collaborated with a cross-functional team of PMs, Designers, and Developers to conceptualize a solution for the communication system between students and academic advisors. He has prototyped 50+ screens using IU’s Rivet design system on Figma. Sourya has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Anil Neerukonda Institute of Technology & Sciences and has completed courses in Front end web development from Free Code Camp, Mobile web specialist from Udacity, and UXUI design from Uxmint Academy.
