Soutrik Maiti is an experienced Embedded Software Designer with a keen interest in Robotics and Motion Control. He has expertise in programming languages such as C, C++11, C++14, C++17, Python2.0, and Python3.0. Soutrik has a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Texas and a Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation and Control Engineering from Dr. B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar. Soutrik has over 4 years of relevant experience in designing and developing Embedded Systems Software. He has also worked on Robotics Software development using ROS in C++. Soutrik has experience in Localization using Extended Kalman Filters and Monte Carlo Localization, Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM), Path Planning, and Navigation. He is interested in System Identification, Optimal Control, Non-Linear Control, Industrial Automation, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Vision and Learning, Intelligent Control, and Distributed Decision and Control. Soutrik has worked with companies like Qualcomm and is currently working as an Embedded Software Design Engineer at ASML. He has also been certified as an Unmanned Vehicle Systems developer. Soutrik has published a paper on IoT-based Smart Switch Board System for Home Appliances Control in the International Conference on Control, Communication, and Power Engineering.
