Souvik Dandapat is an ADAS AI & System Engineer at Qualcomm with 3.19 years of relevant experience. He is hardworking, sincere, and has a proper knowledge of time management. Souvik is a proper researcher and an enthusiast in learning new things with high curiosity. He is always up for new opportunities with a time assurance work plan implementation. Currently, Souvik is part of Qualcomm’s ADAS AI/ML Team, where he is assisting technical support to OEMs for bringing autonomous vehicles on roads. At Qualcomm, Souvik is working on end-2-end Automotive embedded AI SW stack to run NN Models on Qualcomm's AI Accelerator and NSP while improvising several parameters by 10-20% with every release to customers. He has gained experience on Machine Learning algorithms such as YoloV3, resnet50, resent18, SSDMobileNet. Souvik has also developed workflows for automating the test cases and integrating them into the Test Automation framework, reducing the manual execution from 2-3 days to a couple of hours. He participates in customer issues/changes followed by debugging and discussions while testing the prototypes and incorporating feedback. Before joining Qualcomm, Souvik was a Graduate Engineering Trainee (D&DCS) at KPIT, where he was a part of the Digital and Diagnostics Connected Solution department. He was trained in various scripting languages and gained exposure to the automotive domain. Souvik was also a Senior Board Advisory Member at Robovitics. Souvik has a BTech in Electronics and Communication Engineering from VIT, where he graduated in 2020. He completed his schooling from Delhi Public School Indirapuram and Stafford International School, Colombo. Souvik's tech stack includes AI, Software Engineer, test, ML, SDET, and Research Scientist.
