Souvik Paul is a highly motivated and results-driven software developer with experience in both the automotive and finance industries. He is currently working as an Analyst at Goldman Sachs, where he is responsible for developing software solutions to support the company's operations. Souvik is a graduate of the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, where he completed a dual degree in Chemical Engineering. During his time at Mercedes Benz as a Software Intern, Souvik was involved in deploying Matlab and associated toolchains on Windows OS containers hosted on Docker EE. He also implemented GUI support on Linux containers running MATLAB using X Window system for remote tasking and developed a Jenkins pipeline for Docker containers to run remote builds with error and health-check mechanisms. Souvik presented a proof-of-concept application for application modernization to Cloud-Optimized platform in production environment. He also published a summary report on Windows Container Support and capabilities on both client and server architecture. Souvik is a keen learner and is always looking to improve himself. He has a creative mind and a sense of humor. He has a humongous love for sports, especially cricket and table tennis. Besides, he likes to involve himself in many areas like photography, painting, App design, coding, etc. He is also keen on traveling and adventures. He completed his Dual Degree (B.Tech + M.Tech) in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. Souvik's technical skills include software engineering, Docker, and Jenkins.
