Sovan Ghosh is a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with over 8 years of experience in the industry. He is currently working with Optum as a Senior Software Engineer, where he is responsible for developing and maintaining complex software applications. He designed and implemented the architecture of an entire module using Django, which was responsible for handling a large volume of real-time data consumed from ATCC (Automatic Traffic Counter and Classifiers) and ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) devices. Sovan also wrote PL/SQL queries to calculate routes between two points using the network information stored in PostGIS. He optimized large database queries using Django ORM and wrote scripts to automate the build and deployment process in AWS instances. Before joining IBI Group, Sovan worked as a Software Developer with TCS. He collaborated in developing SAPUI5 applications deployed in Fiori Launchpad. Sovan developed SAPUI5 screens with Fiori Design containing various UI5 controls like simple form, split app, and implemented router and oData binding. Sovan holds a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Computer Science from Kalyani Government Engineering College. He completed his Higher Secondary education from Hooghly Collegiate School and his Secondary education from Bandel St Johns School.
