Sovban Nisar is a seasoned Sr. QA Engineer with over 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance and IT, Quality Control. He has a solid understanding of Test Planning, Test Design, Test Execution, and Defect Reporting & Tracking. Sovban is detail-oriented and resourceful in the completion of projects, with the ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines. He is proficient in developing strategies & process implementation. Sovban has good exposure to Application Testing, Web Application Testing, Database Level Testing, Mobile Testing, and API Testing. He has strong experience in Requirement analysis, Preparation of test scenarios and test cases, and implementation of the complete testing life cycle. Sovban has excellent exposure to SDLC, STLC, and Defect Management process. He is experienced in cross-browser testing, i.e., testing applications across different platforms like Windows, Linux, Mac, Android, Chrome OS, and iOS (iPad). Currently, Sovban is working as a QA Data Analyst at BQE Software, where he is accountable for preparing Test Scenarios, designing Test Cases for modules integration and system testing. He efficiently develops and executes plans for Security tests and uses several schemas and data comparison tools like DTM, DBCompare, Dbdiff, RedGate for executing database conversion tests. Sovban is responsible for programming, debugging and unit testing software modules according to the module specifications & SRS. He proactively updates Team Lead & Project Manager on progress, issues & plans further developments during regular meetings. Sovban works closely with the testing team for bug fixing and also tracks/responds to the defects on the tracking system. In the past, Sovban worked as an IT Administrator at Networking, where he maintained servers and installed, configured, and troubleshooted workstations. He designed Network Architecture in Microsoft Visio 2016 and provided technical support for people using the network or software. Sovban also troubleshooted and resolved user-reported hardware and software problems.
