Sowjanya Devakumar is a skilled Mechanical Engineer with a passion for Design Engineering and Industrial Management. With a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering from K S Institute of Technology, Bangalore, Sowjanya has gained valuable experience through her internships at Supram Industries and Xenon Automotive. She is currently working as a Software Engineer at Juniper Networks, where she is responsible for Test Engineering. Sowjanya's interest in Design Engineering was sparked during her work on a suspension system for a Formula style race car. She also gained valuable experience working on a prototype 'Semi-Automatic Sprinkler' system as part of her final year project, where she learned how to work in a team and manage resources efficiently. In addition to her technical skills, Sowjanya is also an active member of NSS and has volunteered at an orphanage under the Youth Conclave of India. Her passion for Carnatic music has led her to pursue a Diploma as a vocalist. Sowjanya's skill-set includes proficiency with Ansys, Photoshop, SolidWorks, and SolidEdge. She is open to exciting career opportunities in the Design Engineering field, as well as managerial positions in Industrial firms.
