She implemented CI tools and techniques, identified high-leverage opportunities for applying lean, six sigma techniques, and mentored many improvement projects across various groups and engagements. She was also the Wipro point of contact for HBS analysis of Lean and KM and their impact on project performance, and papers were published in HBS by the professors based on the analysis work done. Sowmya has also worked as a Delivery Manager and Release Manager for leading North American Telecom Network Vendor and Israeli Telecom Company, respectively. She managed the team, ensured all processes were in place, and tracked project metrics to ensure KPIs were met. With her vast experience, Sowmya is a technical expert in advanced statistical analysis, project management, communications, program administration, teaching, project coaching, and mentoring. She is highly skilled in driving business excellence processes, developing and implementing effective Lean, Six Sigma training programs, and mentoring Lean, Six Sigma trainees.
