Sreecharan Desabattula is a highly skilled and experienced Product Manager currently working at HCL Intelligent Connected Experience (iCE.X). With over 4.6 years of relevant experience, Sreecharan has a strong background in Research and Development, Mobile, Web, and Software Engineering. He is a graduate of the prestigious Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, where he obtained an MBA in General Management. In his current role, Sreecharan is responsible for managing a carrier-grade device management platform with a global presence. He is also tasked with expanding the company's reach into emerging markets through innovation in features, deployment models, and sales strategies that optimize TCO. Sreecharan is a visionary leader who is passionate about creating value for service providers beyond traditional device management by leveraging data. He engages with customers and vendors worldwide to develop a robust product vision and a 5-year strategy. Sreecharan also leads an in-house R&D team to develop and deploy cutting-edge features that will help the company stay ahead of the competition. He is currently focusing on SaaS-ifying the product for improving ROI. He has researched the market on competitors, customers, and selling strategies for iCE.X and evaluated products in several industries (telecom, manufacturing, office automation, ISV, etc.) for IP acquisition as part of HCL's Mode-3 strategy. He has modeled finances, positioning, and fit for these target products and enabled executive-level conversations. Prior to joining HCL, Sreecharan worked as a Product Management Intern at Edelweiss, where he defined a 5-year strategy for the company's trading ecosystem (mobile, web, and desktop app). He also evaluated customer expectations through primary and secondary research and benchmarked the ecosystem with global and domestic competition to align strategy. He was offered a permanent role (PPO) based on his presentation to the CEO. Sreecharan also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Mentor Graphics, where he was part of the device emulation group responsible for developing a flagship product from Mentor. He worked on building an automation suite for the emulator. Sreecharan is a highly motivated and results-driven individual with excellent communication and leadership skills.
