Sreerag Iyer is a highly skilled graduate computer science student at the University of Massachusetts Amherst who is actively seeking data science and software development internships for the summer of 2022. With over 1.25 years of experience as a full-stack developer, Sreerag has worked with a range of tools including ReactJS, Typescript, .NET, and Azure. He is also an accomplished researcher with a couple of research papers in the fields of blockchain and machine learning. Currently working as a Data Science Intern at Aspen Technology, Sreerag has developed a prototype model with XGBoost that can explain the cause of anomaly in time-series data by detecting which feature fails first. He has compared results on several customer datasets and has experience working with Python, Scikit-learn, Numpy, Pandas, Seaborn, XGBoost, and TCN. Prior to his current role, Sreerag worked as an Associate Consultant/Software Engineer at L&T where he was responsible for developing a SharePoint-based project that integrates various Microsoft tools like Teams and Outlook with modern SharePoint web parts and extensions to create SharePoint sites used for knowledge exchange. He has also developed APIs and Azure-hosted web pages to handle SharePoint sites with Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and monitor CUI user access. Additionally, Sreerag has designed and developed automated unit tests using JUnit test cases with Jest for the front-end and NUnit test cases with .NET for the back-end. Sreerag's education history includes a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering from VJTI and he is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, which he is expected to complete in December 2022.
