Sreevatsank K. is a highly motivated and passionate individual with a keen interest in solving complex real-world challenges and building pragmatic systems that push the boundaries of what is possible. He is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of California and is actively seeking a summer 2022 internship. Sreevatsank has a strong background in wireless systems and security research, having previously worked on LDPC codes in 5G for Mission Critical MC-MIMO systems and IEEE 802.11 WiFi PHY layer. He is particularly interested in the field of 5G and wireless systems and is currently working on beamforming management techniques for Smart Surfaces. Sreevatsank has gained valuable experience through his past roles, including as an Electronics Team Lead for The Team Robocon and as a Research Intern at Télécom Paris. During his time at Télécom Paris, he investigated the performance of LDPC codes in 5G to improve the reliability of an MBSFN Multi-cell MIMO system and proposed an optimal policy for LDPC code selection that minimizes BER for text and video traffic. Currently working as a DevOps Engineer at Tata, Sreevatsank has a diverse skill set that includes research scientist and search. With 1.85 years of relevant experience, he is a highly capable individual who is always looking to take on new challenges and expand his knowledge.
