Sri Harsha Wdaru is a highly experienced Senior Software Development Engineer currently working at Amazon on the Alexa NLU team. With over 11 years of relevant experience, Sri has a deep understanding of software engineering, research, and machine learning. Prior to his current role, Sri worked as a Software Development Engineer at Amazon, where he was responsible for building next-generation large-scale real-time robot detection systems as part of the Amazon Advertisement Technology team. Sri has also worked as a Software Engineer at IBM, where he implemented machine learning algorithms, including regression and kernel smoothing, for attrition modeling. He was also involved in enhancing existing models for predicting date movements for client projects. Sri holds a Dual Degree in B.E. (Hons.) Computer Science and M.Sc. (Hons.) Mathematics from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. He also completed 11th and 12th grade at Sri Chaitanya, where he studied Maths, Physics, and Chemistry.
