Sridhara Prasad Hosahalli is an experienced Senior Software Engineer with over 9 years of experience in the information technology and services industry. He is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Sophos, where he is a part of the Sophos Central Firewall Management team. He is responsible for building a cloud-based centralized management solution that enables configuration and management of multiple Sophos firewall devices from a single console. He has also worked on the development of a policy-based suspension of deployments using a scheduler, email services to send notifications based on triggers configured on entities, and providing operations on underutilized, unused, and overutilized entities which significantly reduced customer cloud expenditure and improved performance. Sridhara has worked with reputed companies like Cisco and CliQr technologies India private limited in the past. At Cisco, he was a part of the CliQr technologies development team, where he designed and implemented a framework that facilitates the invocation of actions on entities like deployment and virtual machines orchestrated and managed by CliQr product. At CliQr technologies India private limited, he was responsible for modeling different database entities involved in the product, persisting them to datastore, and exposing them as Rest APIs. Sridhara holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Bangalore Institute of Technology. He also completed his high school education from Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Gajnur.
