Srinija Vallabhaneni is an experienced Software Developer with over 7 years of experience in the industry. Currently working as a Sr. Programmer Analyst at the Social Security Administration, she is responsible for customizing Deque Attest tool to automate 508 compliance testing. She has also developed SSA specific 508 accessibility rules and built them into Attest. Srinija has made this automated test a part of the CDI pipeline, enforcing developers to meet Accessibility standards from the early stages of application development. Apart from this, Srinija has also created and supported an internal tool that provides a platform to invoke Mainframe and Selenium test scripts for various internal SSA applications. The tool provides multiple run conditions on which the tests can be triggered (Time based, Approval, and Continuous Integration) and provides an interface to view test execution history and emails the appropriate personnel on test failures. Srinija has worked with various technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, Struts, Selenium, Cucumber, BDD (Behavior Driven Development), TDD (Test Driven Development), NodeJS, JavaScript, Jenkins, and SonarQube. She has also worked with companies like UPS and Thomson Reuters in the past, where she developed RESTful web-services, set up JMeter for performance testing, and developed JUnit test suites. Srinija holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, and a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
