Srinivas Suri is an experienced Software Engineer 2 at Microsoft, with over 6 years of relevant experience in the industry. He is currently working on developing services and tools for deployments at scale for Azure SQL Databases, as well as ensuring the safety of the Azure SQL databases and their configurations during rollout. Srinivas is also responsible for automating the process of safely deploying configurations by implementing and enhancing safe deployment practices, which ensures that the databases are not down. Prior to joining Microsoft, Srinivas gained valuable experience as an Applied Research Intern at The Hershey Company, where he worked on Robotic Engagement and REST API's that create certain experiences with robots. He primarily worked on Javascript/Python/Java and calling REST API's and created an Android App for the Robotic Engagement Experiences. He also worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, where he worked on comparing Machine Learning paradigms in Scikit Learn with a genetic programming machine learning algorithm and on analysis of their results using pandas etc. Srinivas also worked on creating python bindings for C++ using Cython and fixed several bug fixes for Multiclass SVM and multiclass Logistic Regression in C++. He also set up the code on IBM LSF and ran them on LSF cluster. Srinivas holds a Master of Science degree in Computer and Information Sciences from the University of Pennsylvania, which he obtained in 2019. He also has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, which he obtained in 2015. Srinivas has a strong tech stack that includes Software Engineering, SQL, Azure, Research Science, Python, Javascript, ML, SVM, Java, Android, Scikit, and Pandas.
