Srinivasan Chandrasekaran is a proficient System Specialist with over 14 years of experience in developing various products that include ZigBee, IoT Home Automation, IoT Smart Energy, WiFi, and other wireless technologies. He is currently working as a System Specialist at Toshiba Software India Private Limited, where he is responsible for the design and development of Smart Metering products based on 802.15.4, ZigBee r22, ZCL, and SEP 1.4. Srinivasan has extensive experience in building up teams with in-depth knowledge of ZigBee, 802.15.4 MAC, SEP 1.4, ZCL specifications, along with GBCS, CHTS, and SMETS. He has led technical developments for features related to HAN and ZigBee and has complete responsibility for SEP 1.4 Product Certification. Prior to joining Toshiba, Srinivasan worked as a Sr. Software Engineer at Samsung, where he led the ZigBee PRO Stack development team. He has experience in developing the Network Layer and interface with 802.15.4 MAC layer and implemented the r20 version of the ZigBee PRO standard for ARM Cortex-M4 platform. He also has complete responsibility for ZigBee Compliant Platform certification process - “ZigBee Alliance” and has experience in developing proprietary application protocol based on 802.15.4 MAC. Srinivasan has a Master of Science degree in Computer Software Engineering from Amrita Institute of Technology and Science. He is proficient in Mobile and Software Engineering and has relevant experience of 16.36 years.
