Sriram A R is a highly accomplished professional with over 5 years of experience in the fintech industry. He is currently serving as the Head of Community (Organic Growth) at Koo India, where he is responsible for building a platform that gives voice to every Indian. Prior to this, Sriram was the Head of Growth, Strategy & Partnerships at Jai Kisan, a top rural fintech startup, where he played a pivotal role in scaling the organization to over 250 employees and disbursing more than 300 crore in capital. As a founding member of Jai Kisan, Sriram gained solid zero to one experience as an operator, which helped him to elevate to the Head of Growth, Strategy & Partnerships position in FY 20. He managed end-to-end business lifecycle to deploy ~300 Crores of capital in a span of 15 months since the start of operations resulting in significant growth and scale up of the Jai Kisan business. He was instrumental in rapid scale up of the organization to > 200 employees in a span of less than a year and spearheaded the launch of BharatKhata, Jai Kisan's digital ledger for rural businesses across 9 states & UTs during the pandemic, achieving a GTV of >$200m. Sriram has also gained macro experience at Nomura, both as a trader and an investment banker across Mumbai, Singapore, and SEA. He has a valedictorian from IIT Madras and is someone who finds himself absorbed into sports in his free time and has had some experience playing semi-professional cricket in the past (Junior development squad of CSK). Sriram's educational background includes a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Civil Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and senior secondary education from Maharishi Vidya Mandir. He also completed his secondary school education from Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Anna Nagar. Sriram's tech stack includes Senior Software Engineer.
