Sriram Rajagopalan is an experienced Software Lead Engineer with a strong background in computer networking and telecom industry. He is currently working as a Software Engineer at Arista Networks, Inc. where he has been involved in various projects such as performance optimization/scaling, IPFIX telemetry, and BGP MPLS L3 VPN. Sriram also played a lead developer role in scaling EOS to support 1000 VRFs and was responsible for driving the product testing strategy for this feature. He has also taken up the technical leadership role in conceiving, designing, implementing, testing, and delivering the innovative Accelerated System Upgrade (ASU) feature for MLAG. With nearly 20 years of relevant experience, Sriram has worked with several top companies in the industry. He has previously worked with Cisco as a Software Engineer and Senior Member of Technical Staff, where he was involved in developing new features, resolving customer found defects, mentoring new joiners, and supporting the deployment of various mobile packet core gateways like GGSN/PGW/PDSN/HSGW/IPSG. He has also implemented the Congestion Management Feature from scratch and provided support to field engineers. Sriram holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Science from the University Visveswaraya College of Engineering. He has a strong skill set in System Software, Routing/Telecom Protocols, and debugging. He has also mentored several fresh graduates and interns throughout his career. Sriram is an active participant in discussions related to tool development and has helped troubleshoot and solve some of the complex issues related to infrastructure.
