Srushti Tijare is a Data Engineer at Microsoft with a passion for working with data and deriving meaningful insights from it. In her current role as a Software Engineer (Data Engineer) at Microsoft, Srushti is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines and data systems. Prior to joining Microsoft, she was a Data Engineer at Fractal, where she worked on building end-to-end automated ETL pipelines handling big data for a multinational consumer goods company (FMCG). Her work involved automating the ingestion, data quality checks, and transformation of a huge amount of data. She has experience working with Azure cloud platform with Databricks, Data Factory, Data Lake Storage, Blob storage, PySpark, SQL, Python, Code Refactoring, Unit Testing Framework, CI/CD pipelines, Automation of Data validation activities, Understanding reasons behind share loss, analysis of consumer purchase behavior, and deriving insights on competitors' strategies and new trends in markets using PowerBI, KNIME, Excel. Srushti has also worked as an ML Engineer Intern at fitnessbite.in, where she was responsible for data preparation for a chatbot online clothe rental website which helped in selection, renting, and payment processes. Her steps included data extraction, data augmentation, preprocessing and cleaning, entity classification and pattern matching, and model building. Srushti's education includes a BTech in Information Technology from VJTI, which she completed in 2020.
