Stefano Bonetti is an experienced software engineer with a strong background in large-scale backend development projects. He is proficient in JVM technologies and storage systems, and is currently working on massive scale data engineering and analytics systems at Apple as an Engineering Manager. Stefano has worked at Apple previously as a Software Engineer, where he designed and developed huge scale systems for data analytics using Scala and Spark. Prior to that, he was a Staff Software Engineer at Expedia, where he designed and developed reactive applications for digital marketing automation using Scala 2.12, Akka streams, Kafka, Finagle/Finch, Cassandra, Docker, AWS, and Airflow, among other technologies.
