Steve Peters is a highly skilled Cloud Consultant currently working with Anteo Group. With over 22 years of relevant experience, he has a strong background in developing and enhancing cloud-based applications. Steve is currently working with CSI Tech's clients to develop and enhance cloud-based applications. He has been working on the API for multiple mobile applications running on AWS using Elastic Beanstalk, ECS, and Lambda. The applications are written in Java and Python. He has also migrated several microservices from Spring Boot 5 to Spring Boot and updated application builds to capture and track code coverage, increasing code coverage across all the applications. Steve's expertise also includes the development of new AWS Lambda-based microservices using Python 7 and Flask. He has automated the deployment of an existing Java application using Docker and Fargate on Amazon ECS. Prior to his current role, Steve worked as a Consultant at Codeworks, Inc. where he supported clients with projects such as enhancement and development of systems in Java 8 using Spring Boot and React, and migrating existing systems off of WebLogic to Tomcat. Steve's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Management and Computer Systems from the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater, a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the same institution, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and History from the University of Wisconsin - Madison. He also attended Northern Illinois University, where he studied Communications and Journalism.
