About
Steve Soleimani is the Head of Cloud Customer Experience, NY Metro at Google Cloud, where he leads a team of Technical Account Managers (TAMs) responsible for ensuring customers are successful on Google Cloud. With over 6 years of relevant experience, Steve has worked with Sales, Engineering, Support, Professional Services, and the Partner ecosystem to drive customer adoption and business value from cloud consumption. Steve's NY Metro team supports Financial Services, Media, and other Enterprise customers. He is accountable for the cloud customer experience for 400+ enterprise customers driving $XXX million/year in cloud consumption. Steve started his career as an Infrastructure Specialist at MBIA and later joined GCM Grosvenor as an Assistant Vice President of Infrastructure Technology. He facilitated infrastructure operations and support for the CFIG acquisition from Credit Suisse. Steve then joined Accenture as a Cloud Transformation and Migration Consultant (Journey to Cloud) to pursue a career working with clients and facilitating in cloud architecture, strategy, design, migration, and implementation of platform agnostic cloud technologies and services. Steve joined Google as a Technical Account Manager for Google Cloud in January 2018. Shortly after joining Google, Steve passed the Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect Certification (March 2018). He was promoted to Senior Technical Account Manager on May 1st, 2019, and recorded a demo of VPC Service Controls for Google Cloud (September 2019). Steve passed the Google Cloud Professional Collaboration Engineer Certification (September 2020) and was a speaker at the UBS Digital Series (October 2020) where he and Naomi Klamen discussed Google Cloud for Hedge Funds. He was promoted to manager on February 17th, 2021, and recertified the Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect Certification (July 2021). Steve passed the Google Cloud Cloud Digital Leader Certification (October 2021) and was promoted to Head of Cloud Customer Experience, NY Metro on February 8th, 2022. Steve is also committed to giving back to the community and joined the National Jewish Health - New York AIR Society Leadership Committee in April 2022. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, majoring in Management Information Systems from the University of Arizona, Eller College of Management, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, majoring in Management Information Systems/Information Security from White Plains High School.
