Subham Agrawal is a passionate Roboticist with a strong academic background in engineering, statistics, machine learning, and robotics. He enjoys connecting ideas from various disciplines, people from different teams, and applications from different industries. With his technical skills, he can deliver quantifiable solutions in Robotics and the Internet of Things (IoT) and solve problems involving challenging tasks using automation. As a Robotics Software Engineer at drishti works, Subham has developed an autonomous navigation stack and obstacle avoidance system using Ros 1 as a framework and depth camera + lidar for navigation. He has also developed an integrated public announcement system for a beach robot and a ros wrapper for an AI-based detection system to use segmented data for enhanced navigation methods. Subham has planned and worked on a project called AVAS - Advanced Voice-based Awareness System, which uses multiple data points and real-life inputs to enable user-friendly communication with the robot by leveraging the services of AWS. He has also worked with Freedom Robotics to set up a cloud-based fleet management system for the flagship robot. Subham has previously worked as a Robotics Software Engineer - Intern at drishti works, where he developed a simulation for a 4-wheeled differential drive robot to test various parts of an AMR. He has also experimented and implemented various costmap layers and planners. Subham has also worked as a Course Beta Tester at Udacity, where he tested the Robotics Nanodegree course for any bugs, mistakes, lecture difficulty, etc. Subham has a Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from SRM University, and he completed his 12th class from Seven Hills Residential School, Sambalpur, Odisha. His tech stack includes Software Engineering, AI, AWS, Test, and ML. With 2.52 years of relevant experience, Subham is a team player who has taken on various leadership roles, including mentoring several undergraduate students, participating in various hackathons, coordinating one hackathon, organizing one hackathon in his hometown, and sharing knowledge on different verticals.
