Subhankar Biswas is a highly skilled and experienced Tech Leader and Entrepreneur with a passion for MLOps and SaaS-based products. With a relevant experience of 9.12 years, he has built core ML and Data systems for some of the largest e-commerce companies like Target, Tesco, and Falabella. Subhankar is an alumni of IIT Kharagpur and Bits Pilani, where he pursued a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electronics and Electrical Communications Engineering and a Master of Technology degree in Software Systems (Specialization Data Science), respectively. He also completed his 12th grade from Barrackpore Govt. High School and his 10th grade from Ramakrishna Mission High School. Currently, Subhankar is the Co-Founder and CEO of Waterdip AI, where he is building a SAAS product for ML Observability to help companies build reliable ML Applications. Prior to this, he was the VP Engineering (Founding Engineer) at Inviz AI, where he built a team of 40+ engineers in the span of 2 years and enabled e-commerce product search capabilities including relevancy tuning to increase sales conversion by more than 10% on sales of over US $ 100 million for the top South American retailer using cutting-edge technologies. He also led a 15 member team of engineers, UI, UX, data scientists for Loopr.ai, a Multi-Tenant SAAS product for ML training data generation. The platform generated millions of training data for computer vision and NLP systems of multiple Fortune 500 companies. Subhankar's past experience also includes working as a Staff Software Engineer [SDE3] at Tesco, where he developed a Spell Checker service that increased search conversion by 2.04%, worked on improving product indexing pipeline, and re-engineered the A/B testing module.
