With over 17 years of relevant experience, Sudarshan has a proven track record of developing, maintaining, and supporting complex, business-critical systems for Fortune 500 institutions. He is proficient in software design and development, computer vision, web portals, OOP, applications performance monitoring and scaling, systems software, security, identity management, virtualization, NoSQL, distributed computing, databases, storage, and agile/scrum/kanban. Sudarshan has extensive experience working across geographies and interfacing between U.S./Indian product development and engineering teams. He is an expert in offshore development, people management, technical management, sustaining engineering, product support, and customer activities. Sudarshan is an excellent communicator and is proficient at building long-lasting customer relationships. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Software Engineering at SolarWinds, Sudarshan is leading the development of full-stack observability solutions powered by data and machine learning. He is driving data science velocity with a range of solutions across the machine learning lifecycle by reducing complexity and coming up with intuitive solutions. Sudarshan is also increasing the rate of delivery of ML capabilities through stronger engineering practices and best-in-class technology. He is hiring and developing a global, world-class, and diverse team of machine learning and full-stack engineers. Prior to joining SolarWinds, Sudarshan served as the VP of Software at Adappt Intelligence Inc. and Senior Technical Manager at Lilee Systems. At Adappt Intelligence Inc., Sudarshan provided engineering leadership for the company's computer vision-based IOT analytics, enabling smart workspace solutions. At Lilee Systems, Sudarshan worked on smart IOT connectivity solutions for urban mobility, fleet management, smart cities, construction sites, and more. Sudarshan holds a BTech degree in Instrumentation Technology from R. V. College of Engineering, Bangalore. He is a certified AWS, PMP, and CSM professional.
