Sudesh Singhal is a highly skilled software engineer with over 7 years of relevant experience in the industry. He is currently working as a Member of Technical Staff 3 at VMware, where he is responsible for developing and implementing compliance services for the Oracle Management Cloud (OMC). Sudesh has an impressive track record of delivering high-quality solutions for cloud compliance assessment and cloud resource discovery. Prior to joining VMware, Sudesh worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Times Internet, where he designed and developed news recommendation systems using Scala, Java, and Spark. He was also responsible for creating user clusters based on optimum activity time, developing machine learning models for selecting articles for daily newsletters, and designing services to show similar articles using content-based filtering for ET Prime site. Sudesh's work led to a significant improvement in average click-through rate and user sessions. Before joining Times Internet, Sudesh worked as a Principal Member of Technical Staff at Oracle, where he led the development of cloud compliance assessment workflows and designed and implemented cloud microservices to discover Amazon Web Service (AWS) and Oracle Public Cloud's (OPC) resources. Sudesh is a Star Performer awardee and secured a position in the top 5 teams out of 40 teams in Times Internet AI 24 hours Hackathon 2019.
