Sudharsanam Narasimhan is an experienced Engineering Manager at Atlassian, with a passion for web application development. With close to 10 years of experience in the field, Sudharsanam has worked on developing different features in various Atlassian products like Jira & Confluence, using a tech stack that includes Typescript/flow, React, react-sweet-state, styled-components, Jest, Enzyme, RTL & TestCafe/Cypress. He has also been involved in running various A/B tests and analyzing the results, and has won the Innovation Week (Quarterly hackathon equivalent) for Engineering category in Atlassian. Before joining Atlassian, Sudharsanam worked as a Senior Engineer at Walmart, where he worked on the deals page of Walmart.com as a part of the US holiday initiative. He designed, architected, and developed engineering solutions for the e-commerce site, using Electrode (React, Redux, Webpack) and developing the Node layer. Sudharsanam was also involved in developing custom logging and integrating analytics for the application, as well as stress testing the application to ensure scalability for high traffic. He also developed various react components that were needed for the application development, and worked on developing features on the Item page and Category page of Walmart.com. Sudharsanam holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from PSG College of Technology, where he graduated in 2011. He also attended SRV Higher Secondary School, Rasipuram, in 2006-2007. With over 11.87 years of relevant experience in the field, Sudharsanam is a skilled Senior Software Engineer with expertise in web development, software engineering, Typescript, testing, Redux, and integration. He is a passionate engineer who is always looking for new challenges and opportunities to grow and develop his skills.
