Suhail Gupta is a software specialist and mentor with over 10 years of experience in building scalable, fault-tolerant, and robust applications. He possesses excellent analytical and communication skills and can work independently with minimal supervision or as part of a team. Currently, Suhail works as a Software Specialist at Walker Digital Table Systems, where he has contributed significantly to the complete architecture, design, and development of the software solution and infrastructure right from scratch. He has written a framework for caching and failovers, designed microservices, written a rate limiter library, and a Kafka-based messaging library for asynchronous communication. These libraries are used by all microservices and are running in production without any issues. Suhail has also developed a framework to reliably make REST calls in a distributed, fault-tolerant environment so that it is retried upon failure in a particular order. He has worked on performance optimization of the product, optimizing the APIs that used to take 10-15 seconds to process to 500 milliseconds. In the past, Suhail has worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Siemens, where he was involved in the design, development, unit testing of new features, and maintenance of projects based on cloud technology and the Internet of Things. He has used Agile methodology and followed the TDD approach for the software development process. Suhail has also implemented DevOps practices for faster delivery using JIRA and GitLab integration. Suhail has a PG-Diploma in Advanced Computing from C-DAC and a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Science from the University of Jammu.
