Sujith Balan is an experienced IT leader with a strong client services, delivery, and P&L management background, currently serving as the Vice President & SBU Head for Life Sciences Continental Europe at Cognizant. With over 23 years of experience managing IT/BPO services across multiple geographies, Sujith has mostly focused on clients in the life sciences industry. In his current role, Sujith is responsible for managing end-to-end delivery and operations of very large accounts/portfolios, collaborating with senior client stakeholders to deliver value towards clients' business priorities. He has extensive experience in managing large, complex programs involving multiple service lines for various large clients. Additionally, Sujith is experienced in grooming and leading large result-oriented and transformation-focused workforces for various clients. Before his current role, Sujith served as a Delivery Partner and Account Manager at Cognizant. In both roles, he demonstrated his excellent client management skills and his ability to lead teams effectively. Sujith holds a degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from NSS College of Engineering, graduating in 1999.
