Sukhada Gholba is a highly skilled software engineer with a passion for science and technology. With over 7 years of relevant experience, she has developed strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills. Currently working as a Software Engineer at Berkeley Lab, Sukhada is interested in combining her skills with web technologies to build engaging and impactful projects. Sukhada's strengths lie in a range of technologies, including Javascript (Node.js, React.js/Redux), Python, HTML, CSS, and SQL/NoSQL. In her previous role as a Contract Software Developer at rx1186, she built a prototype website from scratch using Bootstrap, HTML, CSS (Less), and jQuery on the front-end, and PHP and SQL on the backend. She also separated development and production systems onto different virtual instances and used git to push changes from development to AWS CodeCommit, which they then pulled into production. As a Co-Founder and Product Manager at Keereo Inc, Sukhada recruited and managed an international content creation team of 4 members, contributing over 300 articles to the site’s base in under 6 months. She also worked with the software development team on a day-to-day basis to report product bugs and recommend design changes to the site. Sukhada initiated and led UX design and testing to create a high impact user experience that is both modern, intuitive, and fun. She designed various pages, company logos, and graphical assets for the site in a modern flat style that blends into the site’s retro theme. Sukhada's education history includes a Master of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from San Jose State University, a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Vishveshwaraiah Technological University, and Computer Science and Software Development courses from Lambda School. In her free time, Sukhada is an avid reader, enjoys cooking, traveling, and studying history.
