Sukhdeep Singh is a Senior Software Engineer at Irdeto, with over 12 years of experience in multimedia streaming, video codecs, AWS, and Kubernetes. He is a passionate writer and human-rights activist, and also the founder and editor of Gaylaxy Magazine, which is currently the leading LGBTQ e-magazine from India. Sukhdeep has worked on the development of H.264-SVC and HEVC video codecs, as well as AVI codec. He is currently working on Server Side AD Insertion, media streaming, AWS, and Kubernetes. In addition to his technical expertise, Sukhdeep is also a skilled writer and editor. As the founder and editor-in-chief of Gaylaxy Magazine, he leads a team of 10 people spread across the country and continent, and also edits the articles and maintains the website. He has held various offline events in Delhi for the LGBT community, including in colleges like IIT Delhi. Before joining Irdeto, Sukhdeep worked as a Senior Technical Lead at HCL, where he was responsible for the maintenance of the Audio- Video Side of the code for Intel-based Set-Top Boxes. He holds a B. Tech in Electronics Engineering from IIT Dhanbad and has completed his schooling from Army School Barrackpore. Sukhdeep's technical skills include AWS, Kubernetes, and mobile development. He has relevant experience of 12.87 years and is a dedicated professional who is committed to making a positive impact on society.
