Sukshith Shetty is a Cellular Engineer at Apple with a strong background in Wireless Signal Processing. With 11 months of experience working on DSP L1 Development for 5G Processing Algorithms and Validation, he has extensive knowledge of 3GPP 5G NR and O-RAN specifications. Sukshith has worked on the design and development of Radio Units for 5G NR using MATLAB as the key programming language along with C. He is experienced with Linux Commands for Networking and Analyzing/Debugging System Design and Setup. Sukshith is also well-versed in development arenas using Python and MATLAB. He has a strong background in project handling, planning, understanding Mobile Communication Networks, 5G PHY Layer Design, Protocols and Architecture, and Digital Signal Processing. Currently working as a Member Of Technical Staff (5G NR Physical Layer Engineer - L1) at Saankhya Labs, Sukshith has worked on Layer 1 – Physical Layer of 5G NR. He is responsible for the Validation of Radio Unit (5G NR) and the creation of MATLAB Testing Schemes and Tx-Rx Data Analysis using FPGA Evaluation Board and Instrument Control Toolbox. He has also designed and developed OFDM-based processing blocks for 5G NR (Uplink and Downlink) using MATLAB. Sukshith has implemented Floating- and Fixed-Point Representation and has carried out Debugging Activities using MATLAB, Wireshark, O-RAN Studio, and Signal Studio Pro for 5G Radio Unit. He has knowledge of 5G NR Architecture and Physical Layer Design, Functional Splits, Protocol Stack Layers, Waveforms, Channels, Signals, Control and IQ Frame Format, and Cellular Network Communication. Before joining Saankhya Labs, Sukshith worked as an iOS App Developer at Robosoft and as a Student at N M A M Institute of Technology, Nitte. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from N M A M Institute of Technology (NMAMIT).
