Sulay Lavsi is the Founder of Bummer, an innovative startup that is revolutionizing the underwear industry in India. With a passion for fashion and sustainability, Sulay is on a mission to make innerwear sustainable, fun, and accessible to India's 200M+ digital millennials. Bummer offers a risk-free trial and delivers straight to the doorstep, making it easier than ever for customers to try out their products. Before founding Bummer, Sulay gained valuable experience in the fashion industry as a Production Assistant at Indie Source. There, she worked directly with the COO to manage production processes for clients like National Geographic and Grace Eleyae. She also assisted clients with fabric and trims sourcing and ensured smooth flow of sampling working directly with the cutting and sewing team. Sulay also played a key role in building Infibeam's fashion initiative from scratch as a Program Officer. She developed the entire brand, onboarded over 50 brands and fashion entrepreneurs, and cataloged their 1000+ products for e-commerce. Sulay holds a Master's degree in Entrepreneurship & Innovation from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Marketing from NMIMS. She is always eager to learn about anything and everything interesting happening in the start-up ecosystem in India and globally, particularly innovative textiles, sustainable manufacturing practices, and apparel production.
