Suman Banerjee is a highly skilled Software Engineer with a passion for learning new algorithms and solving complex problems. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Technology from the Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur. Currently, Suman is working as a Software Development Engineer (SDE-2) at Amazon, specifically in the AWS AI - Computer Vision team, where he is responsible for the backend development of Amazon Rekognition Video Liveness. Prior to this, he worked on the Amazon OpenSearch service, where he developed a deployment micro-service for deploying software updates to data plane nodes. Before joining Amazon, Suman worked at Mentor Graphics as a Senior Member Technical Staff, where he was responsible for adding new features to the Clock Domain Crossing verification tool and optimizing performance issues with new algorithms. He also worked at Polaris Networks as a Software Engineer R&D, where he developed LTE Access and EPC protocol software and emulators for eNB, MME, HGW, SGW, PGW, HSS, and PCRF. Suman has a strong technical background and is proficient in AWS, Backend development, C, Computer Vision, AI, and Microservices. He has relevant experience of over 7 years in the industry and has a keen interest in Competitive programming.
