Suman Jha is an accomplished IT professional with over a decade of experience in various capacities in the IT industry. He has a proven track record for leading IT Enterprise Support & Management, specializing in Data Center Management, Infrastructure Management, Backup & Disaster Recovery, Technical Pre-Sales, Consulting, Managed Services & Technical Support for large and complex engagements for Fortune 500 customers. Currently, Suman is working as Manager - IT Engineering at mindbody, where he oversees all data center operations hosted on AWS and Azure, ensuring uptime commitments are met or exceeded. He manages staff scheduling, workload analysis, and interviews, and maintains existing co-located and in-house data centers globally. Suman also provides technical and professional leadership and mentorship on a diverse range of subject matter areas such as CI/CD and GCP/AWS/Azure infrastructures. Prior to mindbody, Suman worked as Manager - Global IT Infrastructure at tmf, where he oversaw the day-to-day management of teams within global data center operations. He ensured data center-related priorities were consistent with company objectives and drove efficiencies in systems and processes. Suman also managed and coordinated backup and DR operations for Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Azure Site Recovery, NetBackup, Backup Exec, Microsoft DPM, Site Replication Manager, and Zerto for data hosted out of public and private clouds. Before tmf, Suman worked at Symantec as Lead - Backup Operations, where he led a team of technical specialists to provide business-critical support to key accounts under the Managed Infrastructure Services premium support. He maintained a high customer satisfaction rate, drove operational efficiency and improvements, and provided L3/L4 support for VERITAS NetBackup & Appliance. Suman holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Symbiosis and a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University. He also has experience in AWS, Azure, test, CI/CD, GCP, SQL, and other technologies.
