Sumanjit Saha is a highly experienced Senior Principal Test Manager with over 14 years of experience in the tech industry. He has worked with a number of renowned companies such as Oracle, CyberArk, MobileIron, GSN Games, and currently Dell. Sumanjit has worked closely with engineering and product leadership to build comprehensive test coverage, strategies, and plans across organizations. He has managed diverse teams of functional and automation engineers, owned the quality and automation metrics of products and services, and delivered predictable and high-quality releases. Sumanjit has a solid understanding of testing techniques and different types of testing. He has provided guidance to QA teams, upskilled them in automation, and led the quality aspects. He has developed test strategies, planned the testing aspects, and created test harnesses and infrastructure. He has hands-on experience with tools like Selenium, TestNG, JMeter, Jenkins, JaCoCo, Appium, Postman, and has developed test automation frameworks. He has partnered with DevOps to integrate automated testing with the continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) deployment process with GIT and Jira tools. Currently, Sumanjit is a Senior Principal Test Manager at Dell, where he manages multiple projects under Alienware with a cross-region team of 20+ engineers to help deliver several successful product releases. He is responsible for communication with multiple stakeholders, creating test strategies and plans, creating test metrics and defect/summary reports, and providing technical expertise to the team on automation framework, tools, processes, and testing techniques. He is also managing the COE team to deliver multiple problem-solving initiatives. He is following the agile (scrum) approach for project life cycle management, performing resource hiring and allocations/movements, and resource mentoring. He is part of the leadership team that takes crucial decisions for the project. Sumanjit has a Bachelor's degree in Information Science & Engineering from N M A M Institute of Technology, Nitte.
