Sumant Kumar is a skilled Software Engineer with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science & Engineering from NIT Allahabad. With almost two years of relevant experience, he has a strong background in developing complex and robust scalable internet applications using Data Structures, Algorithms, JavaScript, Node.js, MongoDB, Redis, and other technologies. Currently, he is working as an SDE1 at Revv Self Drive Car Rental, where he has developed high-performance APIs, following microservice architecture patterns, to deliver a scalable and maintainable solution for a product listing page with improved response time and enhanced user experience. Sumant has also developed KAM System, which is responsible for managing car bookings, and helped in efficient management of car bookings, delivering a scalable and maintainable solution using Node.js and MongoDB. He has also designed a functionality that enabled the Sales team to check the collection performance of a particular or all Key Account Manager(s), Manager(s), and Admin(s). Sumant has worked on code refactoring of car-rental-server, converting the monolith code-base into a scalable code-base based on Express framework following microservice architecture patterns. Moreover, he has worked on stabilizing, improving, and adding new features to Revv Car Booking Dashboard (Sales, Invoices, and Operations Panel). Apart from his technical skills, Sumant is a four-time UPSC CSE Mains qualifier, demonstrating his excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
