Sumanth Lingappa is a highly skilled Staff Software Engineer with over 10 years of extensive experience in Software Development. He is a graduate of PESIT, Bengaluru (VTU) and has a passion for writing clean and elegant code. Sumanth has a proven track record of designing and developing end-to-end Software Test Automation Framework Architecture from scratch, and integrating Continuous Integration Server to perform and report daily regression, functionality, sanity testing, and more. Sumanth is well experienced in Desired State Model (declarative system) using Terraform, Ansible, and AWS CloudFormation. He has a sound knowledge of Computer Networking and is proficient in managing and automating services in AWS cloud platform. Sumanth has excellent ability to learn and implement new concepts in programming. Sumanth is also a team player and has led and mentored a team of 25+ engineers while designing the Test Automation Framework Architecture from scratch. He has worked with senior members, architects, and Product Managers, and is a believer in Agile Methodology. Sumanth has been recognized as the best team player in every organization he has worked for, and has received the CAP – Cisco Achievement Program award for his role in developing new features, stabilizing and increasing the efficiency of the software, and many other recognitions from his team. Currently, Sumanth is working as a Staff Software Engineer at Citrix. Prior to this, he has worked as a Senior Software Engineer 2 and a Software Engineer at Citrix ADC (Cloud) Automation Team. At Citrix, Sumanth developed Ansible modules for Citrix ADC in Python, wrote AWS-CloudFormation Templates for various use cases for Citrix ADC, and developed Terraform resources for Citrix ADC Terraform provider, in GoLang. Sumanth has a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Science and Engineering from PES University, and has completed his Pre University Course (PUC) / +2 from Govt. PU College for Boys, Chitradurga, and High School from Rotary Vidyalaya, Chitradurga.
