Sumanth Manduru is a highly skilled and passionate Data Scientist with over 3.87 years of experience in the field of Artificial Intelligence. He is currently working as Deputy Manager - Data Science at Jio AI-CoE, where he is contributing to the success of the organization through his expertise in NLP and ML research. Sumanth's passion for Computer Science has driven him to enhance his skills through industrial applications in the field of Artificial Intelligence. He is a Research Scientist with a strong background in AI, ML, and NLP. His technical skills include Python, NLU, SVM, Keras, Selenium, and Django. In his previous role as a Data Scientist at StrideAI, Sumanth was responsible for the implementation of information extraction applications for 15 data points. He built a two-layered neural-net classifier and Support Vector Machines (SVM) Bi-Classifier to achieve 99% accuracy on real-time documents, thereby saving the resources of the client. He also developed a Knowledge extraction and Know Your Customer (KYC) application that consisted of four modules, and trained customized Named Entity Recognition to extract data from retrieved sources. Sumanth has also worked as a Freelance AI Engineer Consultant, where he worked on AI applications for early start-ups and conducted one-to-one doubt clearance sessions with engineering students. Sumanth holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Indian Institute of Information Technology, Sricity. He also has a background in Pre-University from Sri Chaitanya Junior College, Vijayawada, and SSC from Kesava Reddy Concept School.
