Sumanth started his journey in the field of computer science with no prior knowledge of technology, but his excitement for the prospect of computers and technology led him to pursue a degree in computer science. After graduating, Sumanth moved to the United States and started his career as a software engineer. He quickly climbed the ranks from a senior software engineer to a software architect and eventually started his own company, Mentour Corporation, in 2003. The company offers a full range of IT solutions primarily to large companies, focusing on application development, quality assurance, technology infrastructure, data analytics, and business intelligence, and staff augmentation. Sumanth is a founding member and CEO of Mentour Corporation, Sumas Edge Corporation, and an investor in Andra Associates and KG Petrol LLC. He is also an angel investor in confidential technology startup companies. Sumanth's expertise in software engineering, QA, and infrastructure is reflected in his tech stack and relevant experience. Sumanth's previous work experience includes working as an independent consultant for Merrill Lynch, where he developed Java/MQ Series/Mainframe Messaging Application for Private Client Group and worked with DataState ETL.
