Sumanth Sharma is a highly experienced Platform Director at SociallyGood, with a strong background in Systems and Application programming in Storage and Server Automation on Major Unix platforms. He has a wealth of experience in Storage Management, including the design and development of Storage Manageability Applications, Discovery of Data Centres from Servers, Switches to Storage, Capacity Usage and Reclamation Analytics, and Path Analytics. Sumanth is a skilled C++ programmer with expertise in Core Java and WBEM/CIM. He has worked for several top technology companies, including Microfocus and Hewlett Packard, where he served as a Software Developer. During his time at Hewlett Packard, Sumanth worked on the Diagnostics project for Systems Health Manageability lab for the project called Next Generation Fault Management (NGFM) and the product named System Fault Management (SFM). He was responsible for designing and implementing 4 modules (in C++) and had the opportunity to work in a technically motivating environment and had a very good exposure to the entire Software engineering cycle since this is a young product and was just being conceived when he joined this project. Also got to understand the HP’s Hardware Enablement cycles and release cycles. Sumanth holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from Bangalore University and a Pre-University degree in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, and Computer Science from Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain College. He has over 19 years of relevant experience in the industry and is a proven expert in his field. Currently, Sumanth is working on building Platform services to enable the Online Marketplace at SociallyGood, an online Marketplace for Non-Profits, Volunteers, Donors and CSR companies. It is the first of its kind- a growing base of technology-enabled platform that makes it easier for non-profits, donors and volunteers than ever to achieve their goals.
