Sumit Gupta is a Managing Partner at Coindcx Ventures, a company that aims to build the Indian Crypto and Web3 Ecosystem. He is a strong advocate of Blockchain Technologies (DLT) and supports the role of cryptocurrencies in driving inclusion. Sumit believes that technology can do great things for humanity, and that DeFi (Decentralized Finance) can leverage tech to bring about stronger economic systems, supported by a greater part of the populous than ever before. Sumit has a relevant experience of 7.96 years and is also an early-stage angel investor. He has co-founded CoinDCX, a cryptocurrency trading platform that acts as an aggregator of trading services. Instead of buying cryptocurrencies with fiat on one platform, trading across currencies on another, and trading with leverage on a third, CoinDCX sustains and operates multiple instruments through a single gateway. Sumit and his team are aiming to execute an industry-wide abridgment of trading services, making trading in digital assets easier than ever. Sumit has also co-founded Listup™, an auction-based price discovery platform for second-hand electronics. He has a Master of Technology degree in Communications & Signal Processing and a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. Sumit's tech stack includes Web3, Decentralized, Blockchain, DeFi, Dapp, and Infra. He has worked on various projects, including Spheron, Syndr, Liminal, EPNS, MetaEngine, Router, and Taki. These projects focus on distributed computing and distributed storage infrastructure for web3 developers, efficient protocols that enable synthetic assets with lower collateralization ratios than incumbents, wallet as a service and custody solutions for institutions, decentralized notification protocols that enable dApps to communicate with their users, web3 gaming engines that enable AAA quality multiplayer games/metaverse in web3, cross-chain solutions that unify liquidity across chains, and web3 social networks where creators create their tokens and engage with the community.
