Sumit Gwalani is an accomplished entrepreneur and ideator/consultant in the fields of payments, lending, security, and infrastructure. With over 20 years of relevant experience, Sumit has gained extensive knowledge and expertise in these areas. Currently, he is the Co-Founder of epifi, a company that aims to help people get better with money. Sumit's past experiences include working as a Director of Product Management at Google India, where he started and led Tez, a mobile payments platform. He was also responsible for Google Pay in India, overseeing payments, credit, risk/fraud, and international markets. Sumit has also served as a Product Lead for Chrome OS in the Asia Pacific and Android One in India. In addition, he has advised the Trusted Computing Group Board of Directors on security and identity matters. Sumit holds a Masters degree in Computer Science from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from the University of Mumbai. He has also completed Google Executive Education in Business Administration and Management from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business. Sumit's technical expertise includes P2P, infrastructure, product management, and Android.
